The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia unanimously passed a resolution requesting President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to extend the effectivity of Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) licenses from 3 years to 5 years. Vice Gov. Garcia motioned for the approval of the resolution.
The passing of the legislative piece was requested by the Vice Governors League of the Philippines.
The resolution aims to help professionals save cost and effectively practice their profession. The PRC, an attached agency to DOLE is mandated to regulate and supervise the practice of professionals.
Aside from the Office of the President, copies of the resolution will be furnished to PRC and DOLE for information.
